Drink Locally, Drink Responsibly

We think you should drink locally whenever you can. But what is most important is that every time you drink, no matter what or where you drink, you Always Drink Responsibly.

Drinking Responsibly means not drinking until you are at least 21 years of age. The legal drinking age in the United States, and Georgia, is 21. Drinking under age can have serious repercussions. Especially if you drink and drive. Persons under 21 who have been drinking and then drive can be a served a DWI (Driving While Intoxicated - even more serious than a DUI) for any blood alcohol content (BAC) over .01 (the legal limit for people 21+ is 0.08). Drinking responsibly means not illegally purchasing beer for yourself and/or others who are under 21 years of age.

Drinking Responsibly means NEVER drinking and driving. Drinking and driving is responsible for over 10,000 deaths per year in the United States, nearly one-third of all traffic related fatalities. Drinking and driving is never acceptable. Especially in today's day and age when any responsible adult can get an Uber, Lyft, cab or maybe even a friend to pick them up. Buzzed driving is drunk driving. Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over. Plan on having a designated driver, or know that you can walk, rely on public transit and/or use taxi and ride services if you are going to drink.

Drinking Locally means drinking craft beers, artisan wines and fine handmade spirits. These are all meant to be enjoyed slowly, responsibly and in moderation. They are not intended for you to get inebriated, which hinders your ability to truly enjoy and appreciate the locally brewed or fermented craft.

While you should Drink Locally, You Must Always Drink Responsibly.
